I’m Hui Ying, a financial consultant and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Cancer has always been something close to my heart, as my sister went through her own cancer journey. For many years, I’ve had this little dream of shaving my head at least once in my life. But I never had the courage to do it — perhaps because I never found a reason meaningful enough. This year, I found my reason. By taking part in Go Bald, I’m not just shaving my head. I’m doing it to support the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS), to raise funds and awareness, and most importantly, to stand with the children and families going through their cancer journey. Hair will grow back. But if losing mine can help make a small difference in someone else’s journey, then I think it’s worth it. ❤️
