If you have selected to be a shavee, with a minimum amount raised of RM50.00, you can select your appointment slot starting on the 20 May. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a code that you can show to the salon as proof of your appointment.

If you’re outside of Sarawak, and are unable to attend our physical events or do not have access to our partner salons, we will make arrangements for you, at the salon of your choice, with no charges to you. This is with a minimum amount of RM50.00 raised.

A minimum of 2 shavees and maximum of 10 is required to form a group. Register as a group here. Groups can be made of a mix of shavees and fundraisers, shavees only, or fundraisers only. The group will be able to book a shaving slots by 13 May, once the amount raised equals to no. of participants in the group shaving multiplied by RM50.00 (e.g : group of 3 shavees raises RM150.00)

Upon successful registration, a unique group code will be generated and sent to the group coordinator's registered email

Your group members will need this group code to register as your group shavee(s). All successful registrants to the group will share one group page and be able to fundraise as a group!

To book your group shave: At this time, all group shaving slots will be carried out manually. Kindly contact Ms Siaw Ying at em1@sccs.org.my as early as 13 May to no later than 20 May to make arrangements for your group members’ shaving appointments.

For salon appointments, as with the individual shaving appointments, no more than 2 persons will be allocated to one time slot. Shaving appointments at the salons are available from 3 - 30 June, excluding Sundays.

Group coordinators will need to submit Parental Consent Form for participants under 18 years old. Please note that in the event that the minimum number of participants is not fulfilled, SCCS reserves the right to transfer the registered group shavees to the individual category and assign them to the next available slot.

A minimum of 2 shavees is required to hold a satellite shave. Register your event here. Participants of the satellite event can be a mix of shavees and fundraisers.

Satellite partners are encouraged to raise a target donation of at least RM10,000. Satellite partners may opt to organise a physical event at their venue of choice on their preferred date OR choose to direct their shavees to shave at our partner salon. A hybrid of both options is also permissible.

Once you have registered your satellite event, we will be in touch with you within 3 working days to work with you to create your event!

For participants not attending the physical event - As an appreciation to shavees raising RM50.00 and above, we will be sending you your very own GoBald t-shirt. This will be delivered to the mailing address you provide, during your appointment slot booking. Should you prefer to collect it at the SCCS centre in Kuching or Miri, you will be provided with the option to do so, and this can help us to save on operation costs! As we are doing our best to keep costs low, the t-shirts will be available to be delivered to you, starting from mid-July to August. We appreciate your kind understanding!

By creating an online account, your profile will be available on the GoBald website for public viewing. Should you wish to hide it from public view where only those who receive the page link can view it, you can choose the Hide option upon creating your fundraising page. You may change your shaving timeslot (subject to availability) before 10 June 2024, or when all appointment slots are taken up, whichever happens first.

Ensure you have proper shaving equipment - clippers/head shaver before joining this event.

Get someone at home with you to help! Helping with shaving, or to take a Facebook live video, an extra pair of hands is always great!

The safety of our participants has always been top priority. We strongly advise that only those with proper shaving equipment at home - clippers/head shaver, as well as previous experience of shaving on your own, to carry this out. SCCS will not be liable for any person(s) sustaining injuries resulting from improper shaving on your own. We also advise to have one more person who has been at home with you, with you to assist you in the shaving. You can also have fun with this and go live on Facebook or Instagram to raise more support and funds from your family and friends!
