GoBald 2026

We are the parents of a brave little boy, Gilbert who was diagnosed with AT/RT Brain Cancer in April'24, when he was only 10 months young. His initial diagnosis gave him a 3-6 months survival timeframe, if no treatment was administered. The Paediatric Oncology team from UMMC, Ward Personnel, Palliative Care, Hospice Malaysia and Amir’s Gym provided their utmost best to support Gilbert's healing. Gilbert turned 3 years in July'26. He has already spent one-third of his young life in paediatric wards, coupled with intense therapy sessions to counter the effects of surgeries, chemotherapy & radiotherapy. We (Nigel & Veronica) have decided to take on this GoBald journey together by shaving our heads and raising funds to support children and families facing similar battles. We aim to share our experience to those in need and play our part in the GoBald fund raising effort as gratitude to those who have humbly assisted us, currently and in the past.
